Tragwerk Weis Branding
Logo design and basis for a corporate identity for a structural engineer. He had the clear idea the logo needs to be black and white, simple and elegant.
Since his work deals with construction and calculation I used a grid inspired from load-bearing structures to 'build' the logo and communicate precision and stability. We used the word Tragwerk (German for bearing-structure) together with his family name. I enjoyed experimenting with the shapes to create a logo from the initials.
